Allied Bank (Pakistan) statement to Excel

Turn your myABL or e-statement PDF into an Excel or CSV file. Free, no sign-up, and the PDF never leaves your device.

Beta: works with most text-based bank PDFs; always check the badge — amber or red means compare with your statement.

Tested with a real Allied Bank statement (Oct 2026). Not affiliated with Allied Bank.

Text-based PDFs from most banks. You can add several statements at once.

Your statement never leaves your device. Conversion happens in your browser; you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads. (Only a PDF with Chinese, Japanese or Korean text may need a font table from newellabs.com; that request carries nothing from your file.)

Get your statement as a PDF

From the myABL app

Allied Bank’s myABL user guide (July 2024 edition, on abl.com) describes it like this:

  1. Tap Statements on the home screen, then Account Statement. You can also tap View Account Statement under the mini statement.
  2. Choose the account and a date range. Keep all transaction types (not only Credit or Debit), so the balances can be checked.
  3. Download the statement, and keep the PDF version for the converter.

Menus can change between app versions. If yours look different, the statement or e-statement section of myABL is the place to look.

From an e-statement email

  1. Subscribe once: the user guide puts it under Services › Sub. E-statement in myABL. Allied Bank’s website also describes an enrolment form you can hand in at a branch.
  2. Save the PDF attached to the statement email.
  3. If the PDF asks for a password, open it with the password your bank gave you and save an unlocked copy (in most PDF viewers: Print › Save as PDF). Convert that copy.

Statement2Ledger never asks for a password. A photo or scan of a paper statement won’t work yet: it has no text inside it.

What it does with a Pakistani statement

Rupees (PKR)

When the statement names the currency (PKR, Rs. or a PK account number), the converter picks it up. If it doesn’t, choose PKR in the Currency list; only the QuickBooks, Quicken and OFX files need it. Amounts keep their two decimals, and the Excel file shows them with thousands separators (1,250,000.00).

Day-first dates

Dates in Pakistan are written day first: 03-10-2026 is 3 October. When every date on a statement could be read either way, the converter asks once before you export; choose Day first. Exports then use DD/MM/YYYY unless you pick another format.

Layouts it was tested on

Besides the real Allied Bank statement, the converter’s test set includes made-up Pakistani-style statements: separate debit (Dr) and credit (Cr) columns, balances marked Cr, a value-date column, amounts in Rs., and descriptions that wrap onto a second line.

Urdu text

Descriptions in Urdu or another script are kept in the Excel and CSV files exactly as the PDF stores them. Right-to-left text can come out of some PDFs in the wrong order, so check it in the preview. QuickBooks (.qbo) and Quicken (.qfx) files hold English letters only, so such descriptions are marked “non-Latin text” there.

Accounting software

The same converter makes QuickBooks and Xero files. Its guides cover the import steps. Intuit asks for QuickBooks upload files in English, so edit Urdu descriptions before uploading a QuickBooks CSV.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with Allied Bank statements?

Yes: it was tested with a real Allied Bank (Pakistan) statement in October 2026 and converted it correctly. That is one statement, and layouts can change, so check the badge above the table every time.

Is this an Allied Bank tool?

No. Statement2Ledger is an independent tool made by Newel Labs. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Allied Bank Limited. We name Allied Bank only to say which statements we have tested.

My statement PDF asks for a password. What do I do?

Open it with the password your bank gave you, then save an unlocked copy, for example with Print and Save as PDF, and convert that copy. The converter never asks for passwords.

Will it work with other Pakistani banks?

Most likely, if the PDF has text you can select. Allied Bank is the only Pakistani bank we have tested with a real statement so far, so check the badge. If a statement doesn’t convert well, email the bank’s name (never the statement) to support@newellabs.com.

Is my statement uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is read inside your browser and the page’s security policy blocks connections to other servers. You can turn off your internet after the page loads and it still converts.
